‘Pink’ Trailer Starring Amitabh Bachchan Is All Set To Blow Your Mind!

The trailer of Shoojit Sircar’s much awaited film ‘Pink’ is out and leaves us on biting nails. Starring Amitabh Bachchan. ‘Pink’ is the story of three girls (Taapsee Pannu, Kirti Kulhari and Andrea Tariang) who are molested by Rajveer (Angad Bedi) but are instead charged of assault for attacking the molester.

Pink’ raises many questions over consensual sex, virginity and character, and how self-defense can end up being jailed. It also provides a telling indictment of the way in which survivors of sexual assault are victimised by the legal process: Bachchan’s character asks Taapsee’s questions about her sexual history, what happened between her and the attacker; while another lawyer asks one of the women if she has been soliciting sex.

It raises all the right questions that women has been facing since forever. ‘Pink’ is set to release on September 16, 2016.
