There are girls and then, there are Delhi girls. It’s funny how Delhi girls have come to be typecast as “loud”, “obnoxious” and “uptight”. But then yes, we have that attitude and we carry that as our pride. Here are things you should never say to Delhi girl.

1. You must be into shopping, dressing up and boys

We may be into that but you have no right to shout it loud. And plus there are girls who prefer being in sweatpants or pajamas and like to stay at home and watch Tv sans make-up.

2. Delhi girls are all show off

We just have better fashion sense than others and you are so jealous of that, admit it!!

3. You fake brands

Though this “sarojini k kapde phen k jati madam disco” is quite true but that does not mean we do not buy fashion from stores and malls. We have a blend of clothes, our dressing sense is just too high to mix it all. You need not to howl over that.

4. Have you ever been to Sarojini and Janpath?

Like really? Do you even think it is valid question to ask to a Delhi girl? We survive on that. It is like our religion to visit these place twice or thrice in a month.

This is one hush-hush topic girl. We will show false hatred towards Yo Yo Honey Singh and will lecture you how derogatory and class-less his songs are but when it comes to dancing we want his songs on a loop.

6. You have fake accent

No, we do not have fake accent. We are un-couth and crude with our girls squad. No, we do not say bhaiyya with a fake accent.

7. Comparing them with Mumbai girls

Delhi girls go crazy when they are being compared especially to Mumbai girls. It is like a competition between these two metro city girls and we do not like being putting down in that.
