7 Things Girls In A *New* Relationship Will Understand!

It is all lovey-dovey, fairytale, la la land when we step into a new relationship. It is no less than a Karan johar movie feeling to us. Those he+you=love equations, those laughs, holding hands, noticing things is no less than a paradise feeling. You want it to stay, those moments to freeze and what not. We girls go overtly crazy when we enter into a new relationship. These are the things girls in a new relationship will understand.

1. Day-dreaming

This is like one of our favorite activity. We start day-dreaming. We visualize him in everything, either we are studying or cooking or driving or any other activity. It is like how it would be if he was here with me right now. We plan conversations in that particular scenario.

2. Smiling for no reason

We cannot stop ourselves from having that sweet shy smile on our face. We remember and re-create all the times and moments spent with him in our mind and keep smiling like a fool. We ourselves do not know when that smile strikes us so hard that people can observe and question about it.

3. Waiting for their call or text

Every single beep or notification in our phone, gives us a hope that it will be “he” whose text or call it should be. We pray it to be him every single time our cellphone buzz. We rush towards our phone or keep it close to us, so that we do not miss his call or text.

4. Re-reading your conversations

It is like a hobby, when he is away, we wait for him and re-read our conversations while smiling sheepishly. We do not want him to be away from us and that half an hour break too seems to be too much. To have him with us, we prefer re-reading all those interesting conversations.

5. Picturing every detail of your future

We start it with adding our name to his name and checking how it sounds and rhymes and slowly we start picturing every detail of our future like “how we will look on our D-day”, “having two kids- a boy and a girl”, “having a pet”, “name of the pet” and things.

6. Stalk his ex’s Facebook

We take a good long three hour ride to his ex’s Facebook account to check how she looked, what she wore, what she posted and compare ourselves with that, thinking we are prettier, successful and better dresser than his old flame.

7. Talk to people only about him

All of our conversations to anyone involves him, revolves around him, starts with him, ends with him. Our best friend is the one who suffers a lot as she gets to hear the most about him.
