There are little quirks within our body that make us feel that something is wrong with our body, but the good news is you are not the only one who faces this. There would be things that might seem too personal, or there might be things that you never thought to compare with someone, but you need to be assured that there is nothing wrong with your body even if it feels different from the stereotypical body structure. There are many things that seem weird to our body, but we just cannot understand what is normal and not normal. Here are 10 weird things about your body that are totally normal.
- Asymmetrical breasts
It is completely normal if your breasts are the completely different size and shapes. There is nothing to be alarmed about.
- Asymmetrical labia
All labia look completely different, and they can be asymmetrical as well. Not only can the size of sides be different, but your internal labia can also be larger than the external labia. The color of your labia too can be different from your skin color.
- Inverted nipples
Inverted nipples are not a problem. If your nipples pop out when touched or are always indented, then it is normal. If your nipples start to go inward or do not go out when stimulated, it is the time you visit a doctor as it can be a sign of breast cancer.
- A lot of earwax
Ear wax is unpleasant but normal body function. It acts as a protector for our ear canal and ear drum.
- Vaginal discharge
Vaginal discharge is normal as it cleans and moistens the vagina and helps prevent infection. The change in color and amount of discharge during your cycle is normal.
- Nose hair
Hair in or at any body part is completely normal. Nose hair filters out allergens and dust from the environment.
- Adult acne
If you are not a teenager and you still face acne, then it is normal. It can occur due to poor skin hygiene, hormonal imbalance or medical conditions.
- Tiny red dots on face or body
These are called angiomas or broken capillaries which are normal. They are linked to pregnancy, exposure to chemicals and climate.
- Mass below the armpit
Feeling a mass around chest area is nothing to panic about. Normal breast tissue extends into the armpit regions, and normal breast tissue, including fibrocystic masses, can be noted. Lumps associated with fibrocystic breast tissue are usually tender and fluctuate with the menstrual cycle.
- Frequent urination
Drinking excessive water and the frequent urination is the body’s appropriate method of disposing of this excess ingested liquid. If you drink a lot of water, then there is nothing to worry about it.
