Though it is said that good women go for bad guys, but the truth is they want the bad guy to turn good only for them. We do not demand the guy to change his personality; we just want the guy to turn his bad habits into good ones. It is like improving what you already have, by disposing of the bad traits. These bad habits not only harm your body, but also hamper your personality and well-being. Here are 15 bad habits women hate in men and want men to work on them.

1. Smoking

The woman who does not smoke, dislike the guys who smoke. There are more non-smokers than chain-smokers and they are always ready to tell you that you smell no less than an ashtray.

2. Drugs

For most women, any sort of drug abuse is intolerable. A woman who knows that you use recreational drugs on daily basis will never approve your lifestyle.

3. Low self-esteem

We want a man who knows what they are doing. A man with low self-esteem is bad and someone women does not want in their life. When you are low on self-esteem, you cannot achieve anything in life.

4. Excessive drinking

Being an alcoholic is like a disease that can also destroy your love life. It can be taken as a sign of irresponsibility and lack of seriousness. Drinking occasionally is fine, but excessive drinking of alcohol is not at all attractive.

5. Bad hygiene

Sure, women want ruggedly handsome men, but when the rugged part gets too real, they just back off. They want a man who is clean and free of germs. If you smell bad and look bad, it can be an alerting situation that shows the possibility that you may have an infectious disease.

6. Indifference

We want someone we can connect with. Being shy and distracted is different than being indifferent as it sends a different message. It is hurtful and makes the other person think that you are not invested in the relationship.

7. Arrogance

A woman will never appreciate it if you show off your money or good looks to impress her. If you have it, be humble about it. Be generous and selfless. Arrogance will not get any guy anywhere.

8. Lack of compassion and empathy

You do not need to fake being nice. The guy needs to be empathic to the situation around him and act accordingly. If you ignore the seriousness of any situation, your partner will think that you do not acre at all.

9. Lack of potential

If you are unemployed, it will never lessen a girl’s love for you. But if you do not have any plans to change your situation, it is something no girl will tolerate. Women want a man who has dreams and knows how to survive without being dependent on someone. It does not matter if you earn more than her or not.

10. Laziness

We do not like guys who just lie around and wait for others to do their job. Women do not like it, when man does not take their responsibility seriously, whether it is chores, job or rising family.

11. Lack of determination

Women do not like man who gives up even before trying anything new. Being complacent is a big turn off.  A woman cannot stand a man who is not active, or is un-imaginative or un-motivated.

12. Dependency

A woman will never want to spend her life with someone who has to live on charity or family’s help. A man should be independent enough to take care of himself and his family. Woman appreciates when a guy tries to be independent and self-sufficient.

13. Insensitivity

There are people who end up looking bad even if they have good intentions because they do not take other people’s feelings into consideration. A man should be courteous and refrain from offending people.

14. Tactlessness

It causes resentment because of the hurtful things people say. If a man cannot think that what they want can be hurtful, it can lead to distrust in relationship. a girl can even take it as a sign of aggression even if the guy did not mean to hurt her.

15. Cruelty

A man who aims to purposely hurt a person with his words or actions is undeserving of his partner’s affections. A woman will not put herself into a demeaning situation just for love. That is why a man should strive to become a good person who would never hurt other people for personal gain.
