Men are complex creatures who do not know themselves but know what they want. Sometimes we want a thing with our whole heart and then when we get it, we no longer want it. Being a woman, we want to please the guy in our life and sometimes it makes us feel like whatever we do, is never right and enough to make our partner happy. We feel frustration and failure. Guys are not in touch with their emotions to know what they want from their life, career and you. Here are 18 things men do not usually want in the relationship.

1. Try to change him

Men do not like when a women try to change them up. You may wish to change certain habits of your man and polish them up to shine. They do not want this; they want you to love them for who they are with their faults.

2. Being a mother

Guys like to be nurtured but they certainly do not want the love he loves to treat him like a two-year-old boy. They have a mother and do not want more. They want to be in control and feel powerful.

3. Interfere with every part of his life

Men are not as self-disclosed as women which lead to misunderstanding between both. If he is keeping thing to himself, it does not mean he is not honest or trustworthy, it means he wishes to hold a little information to himself so that he does not lose everything in the relationship.

4. Try to control him

No man wants to be told what to do. You may think it is funny, but guys do not like it. They do not like to be pressurized to do things. He does not want you to control him.

5. Take decisions on his behalf

Once in a while making decisions or planning weekends is fine, but not always. They like to make decisions on their own. Try not to take decisions on his part that he can make on his own.

6. Set him in for couple date

No guy wants to hang out with your girlfriend’s friend especially when they do not have anything in common. While you will be chatting with your friend, the guys might just check their watch and hate you for putting them in this situation.

7. Asking so many questions

Men get uncomfortable when it comes to questions. It is not about the day-to-day questions, it is about the questions related to feelings. They do not want you to ask questions from them all time.

8. The list of all the wrong things

Guys do not want to hear the list of all the things that went wrong, or the things they did wrong or screwed up or all the things that are broken and need to be fixed. Try to be less critical and point out all the good things he has done.

9. Treat him like your girlfriend

Sure, your girls like to gossip but not your man. Gossip about your co-worker with your BFF and not with your man.

10. Dress him

He is a grown up, so let him dress himself. He knows how to look in public, let him feel accomplished about that.

11. Tell people things about him

However hilarious it was when he last slipped on the wet floor, he does not want you to tell this story to others. If he is around you, do not even think about doing this.

12. Seeing you unhappy all the times

He wants to see you happy and feels it is his responsibility to make you happy. Even if you are going through a rough phase, try to explain to him that you are not unhappy because of him.

13. Passive texting

If he is not replying to your texts, it does not mean you text him again and again. The passive aggressive text messages are a big no for guys. Do not do that.

14. Take him out on shopping

Not all men are comfortable with this and holding your purse and bags. He may not be the best shopping partner to have. Do not put him through this torture.

15. Go on a boys night out

If you are not invited, it is not for you. Do not spoil the fun for him by accompanying him on a boy’s night out even when he is not willing to take you with him.

16. A rom-com with you

If your guy is not fond of rom-com, then do not push him to watch something that he does not want to.

17. Wear sweatpants 24*7

Sure you should feel comfortable with your man, but he does not mean you gain pounds of weight and make sweatpants your uniform. He wants you to make efforts to look the way you looked when you guys met.

18. Being a vanilla couple forever

Having sex the same way, with same woman every night can be boring for a guy. A man wants you to be sexy and shake things up once in a while. They want you to be experimental, open, and sometimes a vixen. Sometimes they want both chocolate and strawberry.
