When we look for a guy there are basic requirements that we all look for in our partner. Sure, we have our own deal breakers and perspectives but then still there are certain things that are mandatory like he should make us laugh or he should care for us. We all have a long list of things we wish our man to do for us, but there are certain simple characteristics that every boyfriend must have apart from his personal quirks. 1. He embrace your emotional side

Finding a guy who allows you to show your emotional side is not hard to find. Once you find him, hold him. Love cannot survive without emotionally intimacy. When you accept one another’s emotional side, your relationship will exist on the higher level.

2. Teach you new things

It is boring to be with someone who has nothing new to offer. Be with someone who can introduce you to the things you never ever thought of. Learn new skill or hobby from him or with him. Teaching and learning new things from one another will make your relationship better.

3. Tear of joy

If a man can make your eyes wet with joy, he is totally a catch. There would be the man who would make you cry tears of sadness. His sweetness and devotion have touched your emotions that you never thought are possible.

4. Make you feel safe

Yes, you are strong enough to take care of yourself, but you want a guy who makes you feel safe. You both should act as one another’s support and stand up for one another. Ha should take care of you emotionally and physically. It is all about love and devotion.

5. Help you grow

People strive to grow, change and develop. Being stagnant is horrible and boring. If your relationship is not contributing to your growth, it is better you leave it. You deserve a man who encourages you to reach your goal.

6. Inspire you

When you are in a right relationship, you feel “that this is the kind of person you always wanted to be with”. He amazes you with his kindness and intelligence. When he is by your side, you feel strong and focused and he inspires you to be good.

The guy you are with should be able to make you smile. He should be the one who can make you smile even in the toughest of times. If he is funny, keep him around, your relationship will be more lively then.

When he is around, you feel home and you two can be yourself. You feel content with each other. He never makes you feel stupid for being yourself. He loves you for who you are. Find a man like this and do not let him go.

He is strong enough to let you enjoy your freedom and trust you completely. He trusts you and does not get jealous. He encourages you to have your own independent life so that you both have even more to share.

He knows your value and loves you with all his heart. He knows that you are special and he cannot afford to lose you. You never have a doubt about his feelings even for a second. He is the real man you should have.

He knows that communication is the key to success of any relationship. He is secure and comfortable being vulnerable and honest with you. You can easily talk with him without him being judgmental and defensive. Hold him if he communicates well.

12. Earn your trust

You are lucky if you know without a doubt that your man loves you enough and cares for you so much that he will never hurt you. Life is better with a trusted partner, if you find him, never take him for granted.
