8 Things I’ve Learned Being A Total Screw Up!
By- Shreya Sharma
We all screw up things, we screw up with relationships, mess up at work, get angry, say things we do not mean, screw up with diet. We end up screwing so many things. We plan to hit the gym and never do that. There are so many things we end up screwing that we never wanted to end in that direction. Here are 8 things I have learned being a total screw up.
- No one gives a shit
No one cares if you are hungry, if you are in bad mood, if you stayed up late or hit the snooze button for 20 times, you have to show up on time, do things that you are supposed to do and be where you said you would be.
- People just disappear
One day they will love you and wish to stay with you and the next day, they will just disappear. It will not matter to them if you say sorry or if you say you miss them, they will never come back and you just have to accept it.
- Only you can make yourself happy
People can make you feel good in different ways, but at the end of the day, you must know how to make yourself happy. You should be happy in your own company.
- Bitching and complaining without doing anything is pointless
There are a lot of people who have been hurt, rejected, sad and angry at some point in time and we all learn to deal with it. If you feel you’re not being able to get over something, you can ask for someone’s help and use the medication if you need it.
- Be yourself
It is dumb to like or pretend to like anything just because everyone likes it. Go on with what you like. You will be happiest doing things that you like doing.
- Let yourself fall in love again and again
We all go through a breakup and it is really sad and hard to survive. We wish to lock ourselves up and never wish to go through it again. Being in love is awesome, and being tough will not make life easier.
- Life is too short to waste your time on toxic people
We all are selfish but sometimes go back to people who just use us. It could be your friend who always expects you to be there for him but never shows up for you. Or it could be the guy you had sex with, but beyond that, he does not care. Learn to walk away from such people who do not deserve to be in your life.
- If you mess up, it is okay
We all have done things that we think are horrible and we will never be able to get over it, but we eventually get over it. Sometimes it is hard to accept, but you have to learn from what has happened and become a better person.
